Jiuzhaigou before and after the earthquake — a comparison
Jiuzhaigou National Park of Sichuan Province is well known for beautiful scenery such as multicolored lakes and crystalline waterfalls. Unfortunately, some of these pristine sites were destroyed in the earthquake on August 8, 2017.
A 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck the Jiuzhaigou area in Sichuan on August 8, killing at least 19 people and injuring 247.
