Chinese dating coaches educate you on how to win women’s hearts

The New York Times has a story (paywall) about the emergence of dating schools across the country, which offer lessons to straight men on a wide range of issues with regards to dating, such as how to groom, how to approach women, and how to get phone numbers. Official statistics suggest that in 2016, China had about 33.6 million more men than women, and the severe gender imbalance caused serious concerns from the government, which worries that the surplus of single men “could lead to an increase in human trafficking, sex crimes and social instability.”
