China grieves on the 80th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre
On December 13, Chinese President Xi Jinping led a nationwide memorial ceremony in Nanjing to mark the 80th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre. Chinese officials estimate that more than 300,000 civilians were killed by Japanese troops during the six-week massacre.
