NEXT CHINA: A conversation with Michael Szonyi on Chinese politics
We spoke with Michael Szonyi, professor of Chinese history at Harvard University and director of the Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, on Jan. 17 in New York City as part of the The China Project NEXT CHINA Conference. He answered questions about how the world should react to Chinaโs growing assertiveness in foreign policy, whether there will be a tipping point for China to change political systems, and what we should look out for in the next five years.
Special thanks to reporter Sophia Yan, who conducted all of our NEXT CHINA interviews.
