Chinese scientists score a cloning victory with monkeys
Researchers in Shanghai have successfully cloned two macaques using the technique developed by Scottish scientists to clone Dolly the sheep in 1996. It is the first time primates have been cloned by this method, and represents a major leap in genetic engineering.
