2,000-year-old booze and sword discovered in China
Archaeologists have found about 10 fluid ounces of liquor inside a tomb in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province that dates back 2,000 years to the Qin dynasty, the first dynasty of imperial China.
The liquor was sealed and kept inside a copper kettle. It is rare that any liquor can be preserved this long.
The discovery will help archaeologists study ancient brewing techniques.
