About the Speaker:
Prior to ChainDD, Catherine Li founded Silverchain Ventures, which aims to provide advisory service and investment funds to startups with high potential and focus on fintech and blockchain technologies. Li has also sat on the advisory board of many high-tech companies, including Fintech Payment Corporation, Bolb Inc., RewardRefer, and Bottos, etc.
Prior to her entrepreneurial journey, Li was a senior credit risk executive at Bank of America, assuming various leadership roles in technology, data, and analytics, as well as credit risk and portfolio management. She holds a Master’s in Computer Science and Environmental Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and East China Normal University in China. She has also been a CFA charter holder since 2006.
Li is also leading the Charlotte chapter as a co-chair for The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA), which is the largest non-profit professional association in finance for overseas Chinese.
