Honoring the water gods
Dongba religious rites are performed to honor the water gods in Lijiang, Yunnan Province. Preserved by Naxi minority groups living in the region, the unique Dongba culture, with a history of more than 1,000 years, includes writings, scriptures, paintings, dance, and music.
