Shanghai skyline

Shanghai, China’s biggest city and financial hub, is one of the four directly controlled municipalities of the nation along with Beijing, Chongqing, and Tianjin. It combines ancient tradition and modernism, which is well represented by a newly built area called the Bund across the Huangpu River. The city’s skyline features the 2,000-foot-tall Shanghai Tower and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
