Street food in Beijing

Street vendors grill skewered meat at a temple fair in Beijing. Similar street fairs also take place in many areas during the annual Spring Festival, when people celebrate the holiday with their family and friends. In addition to grilled meat, other snacks such as sticks of sugar-coated haws are often sold at street fairs in northern parts of China during the holiday.
