Fishermen in Qingdao

I took this photo in June 2016 in my hometown of Qingdao, Shandong Province. My friends and I went to a popular seafood restaurant in the Laoshan area, near the Yellow Sea (黄海 huánɡ hǎi). Fishermen berth their boats near the water next to the restaurant. They told me that on a typical day, they go out to sea at around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. Their catch includes shrimp, fish, clams, and crabs.
