Harvest time
In a small village in Yunnan Province, people dry their corn and use it to eat, feed livestock, and brew liquor during the harvest season. There are few economic opportunities beyond subsistence farming in villages like this across China. As a result, many young people choose to work in bigger cities and some of them have to leave their children behind.
