A canal in China covered with foam
Villagers from Lily Town in Nanning, Guangxi Province, thought that this canal would be a great place to clean some plastic bottles.
Nature proved them wrong. As soon as rain came, it mixed with what must have been an ungodly amount of dishwashing detergent to overflow the canal with these clouds of white foam.
The town government had to flush the canal with water to dilute the detergent. Within a day, the foam had been cleaned up.
