Alison M. Friedman is the Artistic Director of Hong Kong’s West Kowloon Cultural District, one of the largest arts and cultural developments in the world. She founded the cultural exchange organization Ping Pong Productions in Beijing in 2010 after studying as a Fulbright scholar at Peking University. Prior, she held producer and general manager roles at arts institutions including the Beijing Modern Dance Company, was a live DJ on China Radio International, and member of the 2014-16 National Committee on U.S.-China Relations Public Intellectuals Programme.
