Buddhist monastery from afar
The Ganden Sumtseling Monastery, built in 1679, is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan Province. It is sometimes referred to as the Little Potala Palace, since the monastery’s architecture resembles the Potala Palace in Lhasa.
