Fishing on Meizhou Island
Fishermen set to work along the shores of the small island off the coast of Putian city in Fujian Province. Meizhou is known as the birthplace of Matsu, the Chinese goddess of fishing, and most of its roughly 40,000 residents are involved in the industry.
