Giant panda enjoying bamboo

A giant panda eats bamboo at the Wolong National Nature Reserve (卧龙自然保护区 Wòlóng Zìránbǎohùqū) in Sichuan Province in 2007. Dubbed “the hometown of giant pandas,” the protected area has more than 100 wild pandas and is the oldest and best-known panda reserve in China. It is also home to other endangered species, including snow leopards, golden monkeys, white-lipped deer, and plants. If you love pandas, you’ll enjoy these videos on The China Project.
