The well-developed public transportation system in Shanghai allows access to many districts of the city. One of them, Jiading Town, has small canals and bridges.

My name is Ilona Koch. I am 26 years old, a political science student from Germany. I was doing an internship at the German consulate in Shanghai 2016. I fell in love with China and got the most interesting impressions I have ever experienced during any of my travels. Many Germans don’t see the interesting sides of the country. In January 2017 I travelled throughout the country visiting Xi’an, Yanshou, Longsheng, Dali, Lijian and Shangri-La. China is a very diverse country with many different sides. I would love to share with the world these beautiful sides.
