Printing temple in Tibet
Two Tibetans print texts using hand-carved wood blocks in Derge Parkhang, one of the three great traditional printing presses of Tibet. Established in 1729 by King Tenpa Tsering, the printing temple is home to more than 200,000 blocks of religious, historical, and other genres of literature written in Tibetan.
