Kangle Tea Market, located in Kunming in Yunnan Province, features hundreds of shops selling their teas, mostly Puer. Here, a Chinese tea wholesaler presents her teas to customers at a tea ceremony at the market. Puer tea is a special fermented tea produced in Yunnan Province.

Michael Yamashita is an award-winning photographer who has been shooting for National Geographic magazine for more than 30 years. He specialized in Asia after spending seven years in the region following his graduation from Wesleyan University.
