Misbehaving CCTV journalist charged with assault
China’s central state broadcaster CCTV aka CGTN has an employee in London named Kǒng Línlín 孔琳琳, who has been in the news for screaming and slapping a delegate at a British Conservative Party event. Today, Hong Kong Free Press reports that Kong has been charged with assault by British police:
West Midlands Police confirmed to HKFP that Kong, aged 48 from Kings Cross, London had been charged and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on November 7.
