Hackers attempt to extort millions from NIO: Yesterday, electric vehicle (EV) brand NIO ่ๆฅๆฑฝ่ฝฆ reported that it had received an email on December 11 from someone claiming to hold data stolen from the company, and demanded $2.25 million in Bitcoin not to release the data. After a preliminary investigation, NIO identified the stolen material as client information and vehicle sales data from before August 2021.
Zhejiangโs huge new wind farm: Yesterday, construction kicked off in Zhejiang Province of a wind farm of 56 units of 9 megawatt (MW) offshore wind turbines. With a total investment of 6 billion yuan ($859.72 million), the wind farm is expected to generate 1.6 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity annually.
