Largest ever energy project in a desert: Earlier today, China Three Gorges Corporation ไธๅณก้ๅข started construction of what will be the world’s largest energy project in a desert. With total investment of 80 billion yuan ($11.48 billion), the project, located near the city of Ordos in Inner Mongolia, will have a total capacity of 16 million kilowatts (kW), including 8 million kW of photovoltaics, 4 million kW of wind power, and 4 million kW of coal power.
The transport ministry is ready to open the borders: The Ministry of Transport has released a new plan for the โgradual and orderly resumptionโ of international passenger transport. The plan proposes to strengthen communication with foreign authorities on the restoration of international passenger routes before comprehensively opening the borders.
Home buying intention falls to six-year low: Yesterday, the People’s Bank of China ไธญๅฝไบบๆฐ้ถ่ก released the findings of its fourth quarter survey. The proportion of respondents planning to buy a house in the next three months fell to 16%, the lowest level since the third quarter of 2016. Among the 20,000 respondents, 22.8% plan to spend more, 61.8% plan to save more, and 15.5% plan to invest more.
