2,560 gigawatts, lidar listing in the U.S., black gold

2,560 gigawatts is Chinaโ€™s cumulative installed power generation capacity as of the end of 2022, according to the National Energy Administration, an increase of 7.8% year-on-year. (The U.S. has about 1,200 gigawatts.) Chinaโ€™s major power generation enterprises completed construction investment of 720.8 billion yuan ($106.47 billion) in 2022, an increase of 22.8% compared to 2021.

Lidar listing in the U.S.: On Tuesday, Hesai ็ฆพ่ต›็ง‘ๆŠ€, a company producing light detection and ranging (lidar) technology for autonomous driving, submitted a prospectus to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and plans to raise $100 million in an IPO.

Black gold: Earlier today, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) ไธญๅ›ฝๆตทๆด‹็Ÿณๆฒน released a profit forecast for 2022 of up to 143.60 billion yuan ($21.23 billion), an increase of 104% year-on-year, and PetroChina ไธญๅ›ฝ็Ÿณๆฒน released a 2022 profit forecast of up to 155 billion yuan ($22.92 billion), an increase of 68% year-on-year.
