My thoughts today:
We predicted that “Elon Musk is going to have a China problem” in our Red Paper 2023 published at the end of last year, and that it might be caused by content on Twitter.
Today, after some of Musk’s tweets about the origins of the COVID virus, Party-controlled newspaper Global Times admonished him in a social media post titled “Musk: Are you biting the hand that feeds you?” (Literally: “Musk: Are you smashing China’s pot [after eating its rice]? 马斯克，你这是在砸中国的锅吗？ Mǎsīkè, nǐ zhè shì zài zá zhōngguó de guō ma?)
