China’s Foreign Minister Qín Gāng 秦刚 is still missing from public view with no official explanation of his whereabouts after last week’s statement that he was ill. There has been continued speculation that Qin’s disappearance is connected to an extramarital affair.
Our Word of the Day is: The economy showed good momentum of recovery, which is China’s National Bureau of Statistics’s translation of: 经济恢复向好 jīngjì huīfù xiàng hǎo.
