Is travel about to boom after quarantine cancellation? Yesterday, the State Council announced the abolition of all inbound travel quarantine measures, which have been in effect since March 2020. From January 8, travelers will only require a PCR test within 48 hours of traveling. Missing industrial profits: According to the National Bureau of Statistics, from January to November, industrial enterprises above designated size reported total profit of 7.71 trillion yuan ($1.10 trillion), a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%. Profits at state-owned enterprises increased by 0.5%, while profits at private enterprises decreased by 7.9%. Over the same period, mining industry profits increased by 51.4%, while manufacturing industry profits decreased by 13.4%.
