Sick solar profits: Trina Solar ๅคฉๅˆๅ…‰่ƒฝ, one of Chinaโ€™s leading photovoltaic companies with a market capitalization of over 152 billion yuan (over $22 billion), has announced a 2022 profit forecast of up to 4.01 billion yuan ($587.46 million), a year-on-year increase of 122.68%.

More than 10% of Changanโ€™s sales are electric cars: Changan Automobile Group ้•ฟๅฎ‰ๆฑฝ่ฝฆ้›†ๅ›ข says it sold 2.34 million vehicles in 2022, a year-on-year increase of 1.98%. 271,200 of those were electric, an increase of 150.06%.

Yesterday, Chinaโ€™s first national hydrogen energy quality control center was put into operation in Chongqing, to inspect the entire industrial chain of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. In 2022, around 3,000 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles were sold in China, compared to 1,596 in 2021.

Earlier today, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the worldโ€™s leading semiconductor contract manufacturing and design company, announced 2022 revenue of $74.05 billion, a year-on-year increase of 42.6% and a record high.
